We'll shortly be starting up the Sunday morning cycle runs. We're just finalising the rota. Hopefully have something for you shortly. If you want your name added to the rota then let me know.
Cheers, Alec.

Hi Alec can you just turn up to the Sunday morning sessions? I would not be able to commit to a rota as it would depend on what i have got on with the horses each weekend. No worries if you do need to commit

When we're up and running just turn up when you can. We meet at 10:00 in the South Inch car park. We'll try and have routes to suit everyone.
Cheers, Alec.

Going out on Sunday morning for a 55 mile cycle (Perth - Bridge of Earn - Dunning - Auchterarder - Braco - Comrie - Crieff - Perth). Leaving the South Inch car park at 08:30. Any body interested in joining me for some or all of the route?
Cheers, Alec.

17 - 18 mph average would be about right. Plan to do the route non-stop, back in time for an early lunch. Fancy it?

How was the ride? I came to the conclusion that I wouldn't have kept up over that sort of range. I did how ever make a 30k ride with an average of 17mph. I'v always felt a little weak on the bike but now I'm putting time into cycling more I'm feeling the benefit.
Any plans for sunday 25th? 830 starts suit me.

We did 65 miles at an average speed of 17.5 mph. The last 15 miles were at 32 mph, you can blame Gary for that. My legs are still hurting.
Planning something similar for Sunday, might start earlier, say 07:45. Interested? Best thing is to get out and get the miles in. If you bonk after 30 miles don't worry about it. You'll build the stamina quickly because you already have a good general fitness.
Cheers, Alec.
