Does anybody fancy doing the Fife Reliability Run on Sunday?
A variety of routes are on offer, 20 - 65 miles. Costs £5 (includes refreshments at the end).
Refer to my post under last months training sessions.
Cheers,
Alec.

I think I'll opt for the Route 8 "flat & easy" (?) 45 miler from Perth.
And we know that the Perth guys are happy to share: tyre levers, headache tablets, french pastries, etc.

This Thursday's run with the Road Runners is a coached track session. All levels of ability catered for. Meet at the George Duncan track at 6.30 - £2 for entry to the track. Very good for building speed, strength, stamina and all that stuff.

Great run today I really enjoyed it, particularly the dry weather and flat'ish route selection.
Won't be around next weekend. I'll catch up with you all the following week for some more 'beasting'.
Cheers,
Alec.

Both Doug and myself competed in the monikie Duathlon today 4, 40, 4. I was set for finishing in a decent time considering my training level, but received a puncture a little after the start of 2nd lap. So frustrating... never stopped me though. New wheels arrive Monday/Tuesday . Alec I adjusted my seat instead of the handle bars and its now a lot better, still a little more adjustment needed I think but Ill get there. Dont know if ill be around for the next 4 weeks but I will try for the end of the month or start of March. Dave

I won't be around on Sunday. Its Mothers Day and I need to provide some TLC in order to gain some browny points for later.
I'm hoping to go out on Saturday morning for a cycle with a group from PUCC. I'll post the time (likely to be 09:00) / route (approx 45 miles) on the forum tomorrow night when I find out the arrangements.
Cheers,
Alec.

Going cycling with a group from PUCC tomorrow morning, should be about 8 - 10 of us.
If you fancy coming along then we're meeting at the Cherrybank Inn (on the Glasgow Road near the Norwich Union) at 08:45. A 45 mile route out towards Dunning then up the hill over Dunning Glen. Home via Glendevon or Milnathort.
Cheers,
Alec.
