It's that time when I'm looking for volunteers to help lead the Sunday cycles. The groups have been meeting at the South Inch Car Park at 10am and the leader is responsible for meeting and greeting and planning routes for the day as well as posting the proposed mileage/route on the forum and/or facebook page to let people know what to expect If you're leading then it's entirely up to you where to go and if you want to have an earlier meet or location. Please copy and paste the dates into a new thread and add your name if you can help out. Thanks 7th July - this is the same day as Perth United are holding their road race, I know they were looking for volunteers so why not come along and help out 14th July - Katie 21st July 28th July 4th August 11th August - Katie 18th August 25th August 1st September 8th September - Katie 15th September 22nd September 29th September

I'm going out riding tomorrow morning, leaving South Inch Car Park at 10am. Jerry's first ride since he injured his ribs in the City to Summit so will be a nice steady ride. Aiming for around 30-35 miles, probably heading up to Dunkeld and back. If you fancy coming along, see you at the car park just before 10am. Johanna

Thanks Johanna for Sunday, first time I have been up near Dunkeld on a bike ride. Great views and great company with our group of five and the longest I have ever cycled!
Cheers Dave

This Sunday's (14th July) "slower" group cycle will be our first social cycle of the year. Meet at the South Inch car park at 10am, thinking about a 25ish mile route with a few options for those wanting to go longer or even shorter! Head out the Crieff Road to Tibbermore – Moss Side Road – Methven – Chapelhill – Moneydie – Pitcairngreen - stop for a chat & pint in the sunshine - Perth We attempted this route back in April and were forced to cut it short due to the rain, hail, snow, sleet. Forecast for Sunday is slightly better Hope to see you there.

It may be 'wet, wet, wet', but I think we can still go for a thundering good ride this morning. No lightning pace though. Meet 10am at the South Inch Car Park. Short and sweet, great training for those wet races.

There will be a "slower" paced training ride on Sunday 11th August, meet at South Inch car park at 10am. Forecast isn't that great so will decide the route we will be taking on Sunday, I've got a couple of ideas but will be around 25-30 miles. Also, still looking for members to help out by leading a ride for this group. If you can help out at all then please add your name to the dates below. Thanks 18th August - 25th August - 1st September - PTC Triathlon Relay at Kilgraston 8th September - 15th September 22nd September 29th September - Johanna

For the Ride tomorrow: The route will be about 30 miles with no major hills check out the link - www.gmap-pedometer.com?r=6090313I was thinking we could stop at Gloagburn for Coffee and Cake so bring a little money if you fancy it And the Weather looks good

Sunday 29th September A nice short ride at a steady pace (yes, it really will be as I haven't been on my bike for a month!). Thought we'd do an old classic and cycle out to Dunning and back to Bridge of Earn with the option of the Rhynd at the end. About 24 miles. All welcome - newbies and old timers. Meet at the South Inch Car Park at 10am. Johanna
