Is the lochore swim still happening on Wednesdays? I need to try out my wetsuit before the Great north swim.

Don't know. I won't make it this week anyway. There is a massive puddle at the back of my office think you could get a few lenghts in it!!!!!!!!!! What else is anyone doing this month? I really need to do alot of cycling. I'm heading off for a few 60 mile bum numbers next week. Not sure where yet but it'll be hard going as I'm planning to do them before work. 5am starts. Ug. I will also be doing a few hill runs up at Birnam Hill. That'll be next week to but It will be an evening. Any one fancy it? I'm getting nervous about that big mountain next month. Alec. Ben - Lochore is sill on, at least for another couple of weeks .
There were only about 6 peple there last night; might have been something to do with the cold wet windy summer sort of a night ..

Hi Guys....still alive despite the heavy training. Been busy over the last 2 weeks trying to fit in work / training / family / school holidays (but not in that order!). Only 4 weeks to go before IMUK, one more week of hard training then its taper time....can't wait!
Bike in for an overhaul ahead of IMUK, so main focus this week will be run and swim. Planning to go down to Lochore on Wednesday night and Stirling Uni (50m pool) on Friday night. If anybody wants to join me and needs a lift then let me know. Planning to do a long run on Tuesday and Thursday night if anybody is up for it. Again, let me know if you do. For the weekend it will be my last long bike / run session. Probably involve 3 - 4 hr bike / 1 - 1.5 hr run. I'll decide where and when nearer the time.
To celebrate getting this far I think I'll treat myself to a beer and a packet of peanuts next Saturday night.

In case anyone didn't hear, the Lochore swim this week has been moved to Aberdour beach (Silver Sands - blue flag status) because of the Local Authority workers strike.
Anyone going?
